post-LBL & BL scar treatment reccos?

Thanks for all the feedback.  I have always used regular body lotion daily for my (not sensitive) skin, so I'm really just looking to see if the ingredients matter in the scar area.  I have started using the Colonial Dames Vitamin E cream and it is leaving my scar-area skin really soft - no itching, no feeling of tightness or pulling on the scar.

My PS said that your scar will hear on its own and he does not believe silicone strips are worth tthe money - unless you have a keloid... but as far as color only time helps! he also said to use any lotion I want but not pure vit E oil because studies have been done that show vit e oil delays healing and can actually widen a scar - he said vit e in a lotion is oK just not pure vit e.
