I posted on her last post here on the plastics forum asking for support for her LBL telling of her complications. Topic: Tummy Tuck on Monday - can I get some love from my peeps?!

It is with sadness I report she has passed away.

I didn't even know Mickie, but I am so devastated by this news and for her family!! Is there a board or anything where we can send condolences to the family?

I don't know of any. I only know a few people that were close to her from OH. They were also friend of her on Facebook and that is how they got the news to begin with. It's hard because she was a Canadian living abroad.

She suffered cardiac arrest because of blood loss and she could not be revived quickly enough. The doctors put her into a drug induced coma to try to help with the stress on her system but when they tried to bring her out of it ... she didn't. Her system continued to shut down and she finally passed away. Very sad to have come all this way ... had WLS ... first round of plastics ... to be taken out by this second round finishing up her body work. I'm sure her family is both sad and bitter since it was elective surgery.

This is more than Awful..I don't get it. How do you lose too much blood, when your surgical team is there with blood on stand by..in case it is needed...???

I am devastated for her and her family that must be asking similar questions...

There are not words to convey how I feel for this life that is no more, and her family..!!

Hi, So sad to hear about this since it was elective surgery. Do you know if she had prior health problems and how old she was? Her family will be in my prayers.

This is a x post since I responded to another post on her passing.

OMG, that is incredibly shocking and sad. I feel so bad for her family and friends, I wonder if they know that total stranger like myself are so saddened by this news, she seemed like such a nice lady. Thank you for posting.
