TT and breast fix at same time
I am having a TT on March 9 and will see the doc tomorrow to ask if she can fix my breasts. I had implants 3 yeas ago, but my breasts "fell" and need just a nip and tuck underneath them to get them back in shape. The implants and nipples are right where they need to be, so this should not be a big deal. My question is with pulling down on the tummy for the TT, is there an issue with a nip tuck under the breast as far as pulling two seperate ways. Has anyone had both a TT and BA at the same time? I know she will answer my questions tomorrow, but I wanted to hear from anyone out there if that had them both at the same time. Thanks so much!
Aloha Wink-
I had my lower body lift ( circumferential belt lipectomy) and breast lift/augmentation all at the same time ( Jan 1010). Had no issues with pulling the abdominal skin down as far as my breasts went ( took off vertical 8" skin from front and vertical 6" skin from back) but my PS (Eric MAriotti in Concord, CA) did a keyhole approach for the lift on my breasts ... I'm not sure what your "nip and tuck" involves. I'm thrilled with my results- plenty of pics posted on my profile.
Good luck, be well, get that protein in for rapid healing! XOXOLori

Lori, thank you for your reply! I have been really hitting the protein the past two weeks to get ready for surgery and have a good supply of protein drinks on hand that I actually enjoy for after the surgery as well. Love your pics! What a fabulous result between the weight loss and ps! You go girl!
Atta girl- jus****ch that the shakes do not contain some of the vitamins that pre ops are supposed to avoid ( eg Vite E/Selenium)- I faithfully discontinued my MultiVites 3 weeks prior to PS, to avoid some of the coagulation problems sometimes seen with certain supplements, but neglected to note that my beloved EAS Myoplex Carb Control shakes contained 50% of my daily ration of Selenium/Vite E....and I was downing 3 per day to get that extra 75 g/protein in per day or 150% of my MDRs....my surgeon placed drains in my breasts because I oozed more than expected, afterwards we suspected it was the Vite E/Selenium in the shakes that did it.
But all's well that ends well- super stoked to have youthful bosums and belly, I flash my husband daily! Good luck, get through the first 2 days post op and it will be smooth sailing! XOXOLori

I didn't even consider that there would be too much vit E/selenium in my shakes! I just checked and each shake says it has 35% of RDA of E and I have been drinking 3 per day. As 3 per day would be %100 of my RDA, since I am not exceeding the RDA, would that still be ok?
As far as the pain goes, I keep telling myself that I signed up for this, so put my big girl panties on, take my meds and deal with it! I know all will be awesome when it is over and healed. I am proudly displaying my gut to any of my co-workers that want to see the real "before" and they all cannot believe how much is there as it is hidden so well in my clothes. Now they are really jazzed for me as I think before, they wondered why I was doing it when it did not seem to be an issue. Now they know!
Love your comment on flashing your husband! Mine has a weak heart so I have to be careful!

I had an LBL, BL, arms and upper thigh lift all at once. There hasn't been a problem with my recovery. Only your doc can answer your question about a nip and tuck to fix. Hopefully, it'll get done.
If folks in Sac want a get together for show and tell on PS, let me know. I met with Christina and Gisela last month to talk about Monterrey as they are heading down this week for surgery. We went into the bathroom at Applebees for a little show & tell. They both felt better after seeing Dr Sauceda's work. Plus, it helped calm their fears.
