Hey guys as some of you know I got a lower body lift (tummy tuck, outer thigh lift, and but lift) feb 24th. I've been spitting up clear liquid, I am nausious when I get up. I feel like I am going to thow up when I get up. I have been taking percoset and my stomache has been burning. I've tried eating, not eating, cutting down on pain meds, drinking water, not drinking water. Does anyone know anything that may help with the stomache burning? Anything I should avoid or maybe something I could eat to help my stomache feel better? My back and my neck are very very very soar and crampy is there anything you guys know that may help with that? I just feel really crappy any suggestions you may have I would appreciate. Thanks in advance.

P.S. I have updated youtube.

When u take the percocet r u taking it with food, if not that can make u sick.
change your pain meds, it may be the percocet but u have to give it some time to get out of your system.
actually walking will make u feel better, u may have gas
GOOD LUCK

Jennifer, I have heard that people often have reflux after TT and LBL's, clear liquid sounds like stomach acid. I would try an antacid or Prilosec, don't use Pepto as that is similar to aspirin. As for eating I'd try some Ritz crackers or saltines with water - always settles my stomach. The percocet can give you a buzz which will also make you feel sick. Make sure you are moving around that will help with the stiffness. If all your symptoms continue definitely talk with your doc. Good luck, hope you feel better soon !! :)

My stomach acid increased big time in the early weeks following my lbl.  You may need some prevacid or prilosec for a while.  My doc said it's was most likely due to the increase in intra abdominal pressure from swelling and abdominal wall tightness.  And definitely take your pain meds with milk of yogurt...something to coat the stomach.  Hope you feel better soon.
