Second PS consult Done!!!

Had my consult with Dr. DiNick today!!!!!  Woooooo Hoooooooo!!!!!  I found my doctor!!!!  He was amazing, super nice and even showed me photos of his work.  The other place I didn't even get to meet the doctor and they didn't show me any samples of their work.

Dr. DiNick is going to submit to my insurance and try to get it covered, but if not we will be self-pay.  The amount is like 4 grand less than the other place too....  It will take 2 - 3 weeks to find out if insurance will cover it, but from their experience the insurance I have is really difficult to get it covered.  So I am already assuming I will be self-pay, and my mom said she will help us out, since she knows how badly I want this done.... We will make the monthly payments of the financing and then pay it off with out taxes next year.  

I am so excited I want to shout from the roof-tops!!!!  I can't wait to set my date and start moving forward!!!!

Congrats! I think it is very wise to get a second or even third opinion. Your "gut" will always tell you which one is right for you! I to was amazed at the diffrence in prices and reccomendations. Some docs are all about the money and some really care! Looks like you have one that cares! 4grand difference is a lot! I'm so happy for you! 

Thanks so much!!!  I am really excited and this doctor comes highly recommended by many of my OH friends on the Michigan board as well..... So I am very pleased with my decision....  The process is now in motion!!!!  I can't wait!!!!

that is great news, and will you have it at Barix? I am from PA and all my PS at our Barix in Langhorne, the Drs.  are great and the nurses are wonderful. DR. LAM does my surgery at Barix in OA. good luck to you ,, checkout if they take CARE CREDIT they give u either 12 or 18 months no interest

Yes, it would be done at Barix.... Not sure if it will be Novi or Yspilanti yet though, it will depend on if we have insurance coverage or are self-pay... They do take Care Credit, but we can't afford the payments of the 18 months.  So we would take it out for 60 months and then pay it off in a year when we get out taxes back...but my mom would actually take it out in her name and we would make the payment... I soooooo love my mommy right now....

Shawn - I'm glad you liked Dr DiNick.  He, as well as his staff, are great people.  Robbie will do everything she can to make it work.

I know when I had my surgery (which didn't pre-approve) they had to submit it a few times before it was accepted, but it worked out for the best!

What procedures are  you looking to have done?

I got that from Robbie... She was amazing as was Dr. DiNick... None of them were pushy like the other place was and they were just very nice and personable.. OH and no one there told me that I SHOULD have my boobs done like they did at the other place.... How insulting... I actually like my little 36A boobies... LOL.... Anyway.... 

I am simply looking at a full Tummy Tuck, that is all for now... We will see down the line if I want anything else done....
