Unhappy with my results

I am 8 weeks out from a TT w/ BLBA.  I am not very happy with my results.  I have an appt with my doc next Tues and I am not sure how to address this.

I asked him to make me a small or average D cup.  I am busting out of my DD bras.  At first I thought it was just swelling, but at 8 weeks out it isn't getting any better.  I have been there, done that.  I am tired of buying special bras, wearing sports bras with 25 hooks, etc.  If I had gotten just a lift he said I would have been a C.  I haven't been a C since 3rd grade :) so I told him to add implants so I would be a small D.  So, this is not what I paid for.

Secondly, my left breast is larger than my right, and it is settling in my armpit.  when I walk or run, I can feel my are sweeping the side of my breast, even with a sports bra on.  I don't know if there is anything to do about this, but it is bothering me alot.  I just started running again and my armpit area is actually sore from my arm rubbing back and forth on by "armpit breast"

Also, below my belly button there is still a considerable pooch.  the top area is flat, but not the lower.  Again, at first I thought this was just swelling, but now I am not sure!   I am really stressed out about talking to him about it, mainly because I don't really want another surgery, but I don't see any other way to fix it.

What should I do?  Has anyone had similar experiences?  HELP!

Also, at my one week follow up appointment, I  told him that I had taken out the On Q pain pump myself.  I did not know what I was doing, I was on heavy medication and I didn't even know I was doing it, I was kind of sleeping.  My husband woke me up and said "stop what are you doing!" and I have pulled the whole thing out, or so I thought.  He did not check the area.  I felt something poking me around the same area.  He said it was just a stich, and not to worry about it.   ok..  2 weeks later, I am in for another appointment, and I tell his this is still poking me, again, he did not look at the area, said it is just a suture, and it will disolve.  This is causing me a lot of pain, so at my next appointment, I insisted that he examine the area.  You could see and feel something about to poke thru my skin.  He almost immediately looks at his nurse and says " Who toook her pain pump out?"  I tell him I did , don't you remember I have told you that the last 2 times i have been in here.  He says he didn't know, and proceeds to tell me that the catheter from the pump is still in there.  Come back tomorrow morning and we will make an incision and get it out.  I am both relieved an pissed.  I have been telling his this for 6 weeks and he just didn't listen to me, or examine the area.  so, I got it out.  it was over 13 inches long and I have another scar to deal with.   I know it was there for a purpose, but I feel like he should have caught it at my first pre op appointment and I wouldn't have had to live with it in my abdomen for 6 weeks, causing me significant pain.  not happy

I don't know what to say except that I feel bad you are going through this. It's a shame your doctor apparently isn't listening to you, or at least there is miscommunication compounding your physical problems. I hope you get everything resolved to your satisfaction.

Well first off do not hold back tell your surgeon everything that is bothering you.
A good surgeon will offer to do revisions and fix the problem however,

Note one thing.... swelling and changing can take up to one year to occur so do not be surprised if he asks you to give it some more time and if it still does not change then he can do something.
I too had one breast larger than the other one of my nipples was higer than the other and did not seem completely round it was not in my head my hubby said something too.
But I told my surgeon he noted the chart and today I had my a little over one year and check and you know everything is perfect all has fallen into place. I do have one little spot on my scar that I am not happy with that he is going to fix.
So do not hold back you paid a lot of money tell him what bathers you .

Best wishes

Reality check-  you have major responsibility for the resultant scar from pulling the ON Q Pump.  The surgeon did nothing to cause that. Although his inattention at your 2 prior visits is unfortunate, it  would not have changed the outcome- another scar. Don't mean to be overly harsh but you should throw that out of any argument.

As for your results...I can identify. Your body will be changing for a long time. Give it a little more time. Final results are supposed to be at a year out. Inform the surgeon of your concerns in an appropriate and professional manner on your next visit. You may want to take notes with you because it can be difficult to express oneself fully in the moment without preparation. Don't plan for any surgical changes until 6 months (bare minimum). Your body really needs the time to recuperate.

In the mean time, good luck. You'll be on an emotional rollercoaster of body image. It's part of the process for anyone who makes radical changes to their physical appearance- good or bad.
