Arms - What did you wear home
I am having my Upper Body and arms done tomorrow.
What did you wear home from the hospital? Large Tee Shirt? Or Button Down Shirt? Or something else?
Thanks in adavance - I feel like I am so NOT prepared!

I had my bra/arm compression & lower body compression garment. I wore huge tshirts for the first few days. It also hid all my drains. For the airplane ride home, I had a little tshirt and and a 3/4 length button down shirt that I left open. It hid the 3/4 length arm/bra garment. Now, it's just under my tshirts. I know that Dee said she wore big baby doll tops. You really can move your arms around, just don't stretch for things.

I wore my night gown with a over sized robe over it. The night gown was stretchy and loose with thin straps so I could step into it and then my mom pulled it up over my arms so I didn't have to move my arms too much. The robe I just belted loosely over the night gown. I had a binder underneath the gown for my breasts and bandages on my arms. I pinned my drains and the pain pump buttons to the binder.
At home I just wore the binder most of the time with loose sweat pants. If I had to leave the house I threw on a sun dress with straps because I couldn't stand to have anything touching my arms for the first month.
I am so excited for you. Good luck with your surgery tomorrow.
Take care,
Ole

cotton camisole pulled up over the hips under the binder (I also had LBL/anchor at the same time), and then a button-down shirt. My surgeon's wanted me in pull-up and button down for the first two weeks.
I did find that, once I got to the silicone regime for the arms, a pair of trouser socks with the toes cut open holds the silicone on nicely and isn't noticeable under most long-sleeved shirts (scars go just past the elbow for me).
Best of luck with your surgery!
