OMG - Wednesday is the Day

I already can not sleep and I still have a day to go.  You would think my surgery is tomorrow and that it was my first.  It is actually my third, but I think thats what is bothering me.  I am having a Upper Body Lift (back fat) and my arms done.  Staying one night in the hospital!

I forget the basics.  I didn't ask many questions at my pre op because I guess I am just comfortable at this point with the surgeron etc.  I don't know if I will have drains, a pain pump, anything.  I guess I will find that out on Wednesday!!

I keep trying to remember - What should I bring to the hospital?

Besides not raising my arms etc, what can you tell me about arm recovery?

Thanks for anything anyone has to add and Thanks in Advance - I am so very excited!!

How exciting for you! Good luck and I hope you have an uneventful and quick recovery.
I used a lot of pillows to prop my arms up on when I slept and I had a foam wedge so that I wasn't having to sleep flat on my back. Normally I am a side sleeper but the first month I couldn't sleep on my side so the foam wedge thingie made it easier for me to sleep and to get up.

Take care and best wishes.

Hi Kristi,

I've been thinking about you - how did everything go last week and how are you feeling?
