How soon can I start running again after LBL.

Anyone have an "average" of when I should be able to start running again after LBL and brachioplasty with epigastric hernia repair?   I know these are just "guesstimates" and everyone is different.
Thanks!!

I had a lbl with ba/bl and butt aug. I had to wait 6 weeks to run again (not just kind of trotting on the treadmill), and it was the hardest wait I've had in a long time. My dr. also limited me to a quarter mile a day for the first week, and adding a quarter mile per wee****il I was back up to speed.

Thanks Shellymor - that gives me an idea of what to expect.

me too, my dr had me wait 6 weeks.  I confess to kind of slow jogging for just a couple of minutes before the 6 week mark but waited to full out run a couple of miles until the 6 weeks.

I know it sounds stupid, but what did you while you could not run to make sure you did not gain weight?  I have scheduled 2 rounds of plastics (thigh lipo, mtl, and abdominoplasty then thigh and butt lift) one in July and one in December.  I am soooooo concerned that I will gain weight if I am not active!  Lifting and jogging have become part of my life!
