Drains for Upper Body Lift? Yes or No
Arms ... a drain in each that come out down by the elbows .... and for my UBL ... I had 2 drains coming out of my back (the flat under skin thingy was placed more around the sides) but the tube exited on my back) ... total pain in the ass as unless you propped yourself up you were laying on them all the time. WAS REALLY happy they were pulled. I had 9 drains at one point and they were the worst.

I had a breast lift and brachiplasty done at the same time, the lift incision does wrap arond my side slightly but not as far as it would for an UBL (I don't believe). My surgeon did not use any drains although he said he typically uses several, but I did not need them,

I had everything but thighs done, and had no drains at all. My surgeons said it would depend on what they found when they put me back together.
