Surgery Consult...March 16th....YAY ME..!!

I'M LOOKING TO HAVE THE LBL..(FIRST....=D)

I just scheduled my consult for LBL today.  Mine is for Feb 15, I am excited as well.

I also am going to make a list of questions to take with me because I know I will forget.

Are you having anything else done with your LBL like your inner thighs or what not?

I think I am only getting the LBL due to finances, I'll go back for thigh lift later.  Well I KNOW (not think) that I will only be getting the LBL

I am saying *only* but it is a lot!

I will only be getting the LBL, I think...I hope I can talk my husband into the extra money for the inner thigh lift, as well..but I'm like you..I know I will be getting the LBL, for sure, that is if the surgeons gives me the go ahead to do so...! And that's Okay, for now if I can only get the LBL, without the thigh lift..I will just be soooooo happy to get this loose, flapping, flopping, hanging
alien from around my mid-section...

It's going to be soooo nice to be able to wear tops that don't have to go all the way to the floor ( a little exaggeration) to cover the little monster up...! ha

Later on I hope I can get the  boobies and arms done and I can't forget about the turkey that lives under my chin...that bird has GOT to go..!! LOL

If My surgeon agrees to August, that will be when I will be having my surgery...

I hope to lose at least ten more pounds before my consult if not a little more...I haven't lost ANY in quite sometime...but I'm still hoping that will change...

We will have to keep in touch if our surgery dates are anywher near the same...

Are you planning on a date as soon as possible..?

Hi Cyndi..

Yes, I am *praying* for asap because I have a hernia (or at least a small bulge that I believe to be an incisional hernia) and it causes me pain that comes and goes.

The hernia is not an emergency at this point but it does hurt me and I am aware that it Could become an emergency so it just needs to be taken care of

I really want to have it repaired WITH the LBL and just have one surgery.  

So the financial pressure is really on us but in the end we will do what we have to do.

I am hoping I can hold off until the money is all together and I am all approved for surgery.

I am so anxious about it as well (which isn't helping things)

we are cash pay & we aren't rich.  plastic  surgery is expensive. so is hernia surgery LOL

Well insurance wouldn't pay for most plastic procedures, anyway

It's like a weird combination of being worried over the hernia/medical problem and super excited at the thought of having this loose skin which I call my *upper falls* and *lower falls* Removed!!
