Tummy Tuck on Monday - can I get some love from my peeps?!

I'm mostly feeling calm and not nervous though I expect the pain will be more brutal than anything I have experienced to date.  I have some good pain meds on hand but I am going to see if I can get away with the lowest stuff first and work my way up if needed.

Being the kook that I am ;>) I set my scale on a table and lifted my panni unto it!  It registered at 8 lbs. so I will be very curious to find out how much fat/skin is actually removed when I see the report.

I'm having the surgery just 45 minutes away in Belgium (I'm a Canadian living in Germany for those not in the know) and will spend just one night in hospital while my husband stays at nearby hotel.  Home on Tuesday to my own bed.  Hubby is off from work the whole week for which I am very grateful.  I've put the word out to borrow a baby monitor as the house we are renting is large and quite soundproof so this way I can alert hubby when I need help to the bathroom and stuff.

Tomorrow I will  be getting my daughter to take some before pics - GULP! - and also will do my measurements to compare once I get home and also in a few months when the swelling is completely gone and I look NORMAL :)

I will post an update next week as soon as I am able to get to the computer though I'm sure it will be brief.

 Hi Mickie
I'll be thinking about you and looking for the update.  I'm starting to research plastics myself so I can only imagine the difference the new tummy will make for you, but I'm sure you'll look great.

Now, if I remember correctly you recently had your arms done (under twilight sedation?).  Hope you have an easy recovery.

Best wishes for a smooth procedure and recovery. I recall mention of your brachioplasty.  I was also really worried about the pain associated with my TT/LBL.  I feel like I had more discomfort and for a longer period of time with the brachio than the LBL.  You will be so pleased with the results!

Mickie,
Prayers and critters swinging for ya.  Actually, all my surgeries seemed easier than my DS.  Could be the morphine for the first couple of days too!
