You are going to do fine. I am 12 days out from a TT. I am off the pain pills, I am driving and I am going back to work tomorrow. The first few days are the hardest but not as hard as I expected. It is great that your hubby is taking the week off to help you. Mine took 2 days off but I have a 15 yr old daughter who was home with me in the afternoons after that. I slept a lot but I made myself get up every 2 hours to walk around. I would say the worst part was the darn drains, they are annoying. Try to eat extra protein even though you won't have any appetite. I did protein shakes. Good luck!!!!

You will do great and will LOVE your TT. The pain is not as bad as I thought it would be, don't try to be brave.....take those drug!!! And, like the other post said, take your stool softeners, that was the worst part for me, the anesthetic made me so constipated, really bad. Glad your DH will be around for a week, sure makes it easier. Didn't like the drains, mine were in for a month but I really feel that is why I had NO problems, at all!! Best of Luck!!

I was so sorry to hear she passed away. That is terrible for her family. She was a nice lady.

Temporarily holding on losing more because I'm gaining! Pregnant with my first baby (a boy!) due June 2013, after two rounds of IVF. SO GRATEFUL!
