Butt implants and DEXA scans

Well, I had my first dexa scan today and learned they can't get a readable scan of the hips. They still did the spine and arm/wrist, but was surprised after doing so much reading, and never thought of the dexa scan. It's a good thing to know if you get butt implants.
Also ... if you did have you posted anywhere how the recovery was on the butt aug? I hear it's bad.

My recovery for the butt implants was surprisingly easy. They hurt some at first, but I had a lbl at the same time, and I just had general discomfort all over, because I couldn't really lay on any side without there being incision in the way.
A frequent problem I've read about with the butt implants is infection, which I was spared. I did get an infection in an incision months later, but nothing to do with the implants. The implants are a bit weird, since I can feel them, but not uncomfortable or anything like that. It's just that there is clearly something semi hard when you roll across them on your back, and some yoga positions feel odd.

Inverted butt lift is where they cut you in the "bottom fold" of your butt (hence Inverted) and they take out skin and sew the scar line in the fold like they do under the breast for a woman and it's not seen.
Butt augmentation is usually placed at the TOP of the butt btw.

Inverted Butt Lift
This procedure addresses very adequately, those that have buttocks that are droopier or have loose skin at the base of the butt (rather than the low back/ top of butt) and the heavy saddle bags at the outer thighs. The incision can be combined with a LBL a TT, and/or an Inner thigh lift, so they meet. The basically begins at the top of the inner groin and comes around and under the butt and the loose skin is resected there. The incision can be extended (via extra skin resection) to continue up and around the outer thighs more at the top of the outer thighs (hip joint area) so that the saddle bags can be addressed better than with the Lower Body Lift or Extended Tummy Tuck. This procedure tends to make the butt slightly more rounded and some tissue can be "molded" into the butt at the base at the incision.
