THE BELLY BUTTON..?

How does that work...I mean how do they decide what size it should be and are you happy with yours after surgery..?

They use your own BB - so I have no Idea if they actually decide on the size.. I love mine, my PS did an awesome job with it.

Mine was very wide and very deep prior to my tummy tuck. I hated it. My surgeon created a very small and cute one for me. I love it!

They use your own if they can .... as long as the blood supply is good.    They just pop a hole, bring it through and sew it back in.  

Some docs charge more to "deal" with the belly button.   To keep it ... or to make you a new one surgically by gathering and scaring.

my doctor took one of my sleeve scar and used it for my new belly button.    He tried to get rid of some of my other scars during the extended tummy tuck. 

I have a small bb and am happy with it.

According to all 3 of my consults, there is a high probability your belly button cannot be saved. Make sure you have discussed options should that happen with your surgeon before hand.
