You look great!  I hope to someday have this done as well.  I just tried on some swim suits the other day.  I was excited to see my new tummy in a suit.  Well my excitement didn't last long. As soon as I saw myself in the mirror I saw that I actually have more tissue and skin in my arm pits than in my boobs.  No joke.  I used to be a size D and now my boobs are completely gone : (  But my upset didn't last long because I reminded myself just how far I've come and how much weight I've lost and how much healthier and happier I am.  Also I look great with clothes and a good bra on....couldn't say that before.  Enough about me....you do heal amazingly well!

Well my UBL scar goes front to back.   I guess since your back was done separately it's call this bra thingy 

Lookinig good.   This scar is my LEAST favorite thing about plastics that I needed.   I hate it.  Probably always will.  BUT it's better then the alternative as I know I could never get rid of that side boobage and back skin any other way but surgery.   Dr. S.  took some pretty big wedges from me.  I was kinda surprised there was so much.

LOL...you are too funny! My surgeon called it an upper flankplasty...I really don't know what it's called. I was such an apple shape prior to WLS and carried most of my weight in my upper body. I never thought I'd have so much extra skin under my arms and on my back, but it was there. I can see where you'd be apprehensive about the scar, being a guy. I'll never be in public without my shirt so it's not as big of an issue for me. I did try on one of my scoop back one piece bathing suits and the scars were visible but it wasn't too bad. I know they will eventually turn white and not be near as noticable. My favorite style of bathing suit covers it perfectly.

Yeah well my thong swimsuit doesn't cover any of my scars!

You are right.  The shirtless thing was my thought about the back / side and front scar from the UBL.  All these years without going shirtless being heavy ... now will I feel just as self conscious because of the scar.  Time will tell.   I'm a pretty good healer so I hope I am a good scar healer as well :)

I am scheduled Feb 23rd for the "Back Upper Body" Lift what ever we want to call it.  It will also go under my arm pits.  He actually said he will continue the incision from my breast lift that I had in December.  He is also doing my arms.  ( I don't ever use the proper terms) LOL

I had a breast lift last December and I am still trying to decide if I want/need implants!!

I am stil on the heavy end of things.  I started at 360 and got to 199 when I started my PS journey 2 years ago!!  I just have to realize I am never going to be a size 6 or 8 and be happy with my 12.  So I am worried about the back a bit to hope that I get the results that I am wanting.
