belly button piercing????

Ok, so I had a tummy tuck in Dec.(love it). I had alot of abdominal surgerys so my belly button had to have a little repair work done on it. I have a very flat but hard tummy. The navel is also hard all the way around it. Has anyone out there had theirs pierced with that hardness around the navel???? I love my new tummy!!!!

I hope you get some answers to this. I just had a tt on 2/17 and getting my belly button pierced is something I have been considering. I am glad you are happy with your new tummy!!

I too have always wanted to piercce my belly button. However - after researching it - it does seem that most who get pierced post op end uprejecting the ring and therefore end up with a scar and no piercing.
Talk to your surgeon - and if he thinks it's okay - then have HIM pierce it for you!

I had scar tissue from multiple laparoscopic surguries had had my navel pierced, no problem. I plan on getting it done again.

The ring of scar tissue is not stretchy enough in many cases...so they tend to erode through and pull out.
