Wings Clipped having problems need help !!!
I had the excess skin under my arms clipped November 27, 2010 and now the last 3 days I have noticed that I am having some problems extending out my arm fully without having pain. The left one seems ok but my right arm hurts pretty much. If I try to reach up over my head it really hurts and if I reach out palm up it hurts. Has anyone else experienced this kind of reaction after their surgery? I am getting a bit nervous. My doctor is in another country so I thought I'd ask on here before I freaked totally out and called him. LOL Please email me with any answers [email protected] Thanks so much!!!

I had the same thing but early on. I just continued to try and streatch since it felt more like just a tight muscle. I would put my arm over my head w/ palm up and pull back on my fingers w/ my other hand. Just a little at a time and not over do it. After a while it did get better and eventually go away.
What do you think it was? I feel it all the way down almost to my wrist. I get freaked out when the least little thing happens but this is my right arm and I just got scared thinking what if......I mean it is stiff feeling or like a tendon being streached or something tight feeling in there and it hurts. It makes it hard to reach up in my cabinets or even drive the car sometimes. I am glad you answered me. Thanks I will continue to work with it.

Hi Carole,
I would definitely get in touch with the surgeon since it's been two months since your surgery. My arm lift was Dec. 22nd and I don't have issues like this at all but of course everyone heals differently so maybe your experience is common and I'm just lucky!
Either way, to put your mind at rest and to find out if there is anything you should or should not be doing give him a call.
Let us know how you make out!

Mine were funky like that until about 6 months. I'm just over a year out now and things are finally completely back to normal. I LOVE my arms!!
