Tummy Tuck
My insurance requires that you have a skin rash of some sort on your abdomen before they will pay for a tummy tuck . My stomach itches and has a foul smell once I start sweating, but no rash!!! I have very sensitive skin and I am guessing that a rash will soon appear. Has anyone here gotten a rash all of a sudden

Hi Angela, have your pcp document EVERYTHING and insurance may cover panniculectomy which is the removal of excess abdominal skin only and not the tightening of the muscles.
my insurance will cover panniculectomy because it is medically necessary...I have major pain from the hanging pannus, rashes, etc.
Dr. Larry Hobson did my RNY too....love him.......I live in Lithonia...not too far from you have been in ATL since 06...I hail from the "windy city" Chicago...
what was your starting weight???? do you have a large pannus that flops when you exercise?...that keeps me from exercising these days..no girdle or compression garment will hold it in or the pain of my long deflated breasts..
