Thank you for your comment.  What all did you have done?

Wow.

Do you realize that totally transparent  "testimonials" harm your practice even more than shoddy work? I would really like to point out the myriad of mistakes you made in your fraudulant posts to clarify how pathetic your attempts are, but I don't want to give you the opportunity to improve your deceptive advertising.

Just stop this.
You'll only embarass yourself further.

I'm not sure why you are saying these things.  I truly experienced everything I stated.  I do not lie. I believe in praising those who do well.

Since I posted the truth, there can be no mistakes.  Unless you personally have experienced ANY procedure from Dr. Quiroz, I suggest you keep your mouth shut and your bull**** opinions to yourself.

You have no right to slander others.

I think everyone is just saying that its a little suspicious that neither of the pro-cosmed posters have a history of posting. Click on recent posts. Really... you had WLS, PS and this is the first post you choose to make? You guys don't even have avatars. Neither pro-cosmed poster has posted before this -- very unusual. And.. the whole post just sounds too much like an advertisement. Other posters talk about how they liked this, but not that / this was great but it hurt like that, etc. etc. Your post was just too over the top -- it was suspicious. Maybe you are a Cosmed client and mabe you arent. And I am a member of psjourneys too and remember cosmed being accused of having its employees and associates pose as patients too - Somebody from Cosmed later said nobody told that person to do that, but it happened. So, since most of usknew that already, we were a bit suspicious of any pro-cosmed stuff to begin with. If you are a real person, you probably are very offended. Don't be. Try to understand that people on OH are real suspicious of things like this and since we are a community, we get a feel for they way people here generally post -- like English teachers who can smell a plaigerized essay a mile away - proof or no proof. You may be for real - but the whole thing is just ... suspicious.

miakawa,
You are obviously extremely kind and generous by taking the time to address this individual and offering them the benefit of the doubt. I'm afraid all you have done though is clarify some of the things they would need to change in order to better pull the wool over the publics eye. If we tell them everything that they did that gave them away, they will eventually become undetectable and eventually destroy this message board and others like it.

I totally respect your right to your opinion, but some of us KNOW... without a shadow of a doubt, that these posts are not in the slightest bit genuine. You're virtually handing them a guideline to go by next time. I would never have made the post I made if there were any question in my mind. Even their response to my post- even more confirmation. I have a great deal of experience and a talent for reading between the lines.

As I stated in my original post, my husband and I both had Gastric Bypass the same day, 2/2008.  He is the one that did all the research, therefore it was HIS account that had all of our previous postings.  Such as questions about protein, food, exercise and I ibelieve he even posted something positive about our surgeon, Dr. Lauter (Bellevue, WA).  I didn't feel I needed an account, since he was doing the posting of our experiences for us.
Then...we divorced, After a couple of years, when I finally had the money together, I decided to take the next step and have my first of 2 plastic surgeries.  I could no longer use him and his account, so I created one of my own.    Yes there was pain, duh!  That is going to be part of the process.  Why on earth would i need to post about that?  You should be smart enough to know that if you are going to go under the knife, the recovery is going to be difficult.  What idiot would think that they wouldn't have pain and discomfort?
I don't have an avatar and haven't posted a picture of myself, as many of you have, because I don't feel it's necessity in order to state an opinion about something you believe in.
It's sad, really, that without even knowing ME, you are so quick to judge that I am a liar and am willing to do something unethical.  That is not and will never be me.
Good luck in your endevours.  You have just turned me off to Obesity Help.com for good.  There are a lot of people that will not longer benefit from my experiences.

Tia, I appreciate you for what you are saying.  I too do not feel as though I have to justify why I have not been a real big poster.  I have been a member for a while and did so because of the Lap-Band surgery that my husband had.  I actually was hoping to gain insight from the experiences of others.  That is why I am not a big poster, but I will post when I believe in something.

As for your question to me, I had a lower body lift and inner thigh lift along with breast implant removal and replacement.  I am very very satisfied with the work of Dr. Quiroz and would not have any reservations at all about recommending him to others.

As for pictures, well you know this is a very personal thing and I don't know if I really want to post pictures just so folks that are not professionals can give their opinions of them.  What matters most is that I am very very happy as is my family.

I just returned to Florida last night, so now I can recupperate here at home for a couple of weeks before returning to full time work.

Well, I had an extended TT with hernia repair and extended Brachioplasty with Dr. Sauceda AND I can honestly say the pain was minimal to none!  the recovery wasn't difficult and I was surprised to say that I had very little discomfort.  Maybe a 2 or 3 on a 10 scale.  I only had narcs while in the hospital which was 48 hrs.  Then I took nothing but the antibiotic.

12/09 and 6/11, 9 skin removal procedures with Dr. Sauceda in Monterrey Mexico
Revised to the Sleeve after losing 271 lbs with the LapBand.

I had my a lower body lift, thigh lipo, hernia repair, arm lift and breast lift/augmentation done by Dr. Quiroz. LBL looks good but I have permanent stitches which hurt and poke through. The thigh lipo was horrendous. The hernia repair is great. The arms look like absolute **** - there are dog ears, permanent stitches poking through, and other problems. The breasts are uneven and he ignored my request to remove the side skin.

After the work on the arms was done he told me I'd need to come back for a revision. Considering the cost of flying and accommodations, since none of that is included like it is with Dr. Sauceda, I would never have scheduled if I had known. I could have spent less staying in NJ and recovering at home.

Now I have to pay to have the arms redone, have the side skin removed, and have a thigh lift. I won't be returning to cosmed.
