Mex doctors? Sauceda or Quiroz?

I know there are a lot of people on here who have gone to Dr. S, however I have had a difficult time getting responses from their office.  Anyone else have this problem to begin with?  Also, has anyone here every gotten work done with Dr. Quiroz in Tj?

Thanks for the help... I tried looking through the boards but found nothing on Dr. Q or from his patients?

I have never tried to deal with his office and always email him direct. He is usually good about answering. If he has not responded in a day or so resend. Sometimes he gets busy with surgery or is trying to answer on his blackberry and your email may get missed.

Dr.S answers all his own emails. He is pretty busy, just keep sending an email and he will respond. At first it took about 48hrs.

I'm here in Monterrey now.  I'm 8 days post op from LBL, upper thigh lift, BL, arms and 3 days out from my full facelift.  I couldn't be happier.  Dr S does amazing work.  He really is an artist.  He reduced my left breast so that it would match the size of my right.  He was able to lipo off my muffin top w/o out doing a vertical up the tummy so no scar.    He also lipo'd off my mons before lifting and it was just a puffy mess.

Just resend your email and he'll get back to you.  He came by to check on Tom and I and he had surgery this afternoon.

I am so impressed with your surgery results.  Was this all inclusive?  Air fare to and from the states, motel, pre-op, surgery?  Did you go alone?  How is this effecting the war in that area?  I know Mexico has a big war going on and I didn't want to get caught up in it.  I want my safety and I want to be ok.


What did you do there?  How was your pain controlled?  Do you regret going to see the physician there?  I had a RNY in Bogota,Columbia 6 yrs ago and wouldn't trade it.  I have lost 190 pounds and do just what I was instructed and have kept it off. 


Any recommendations on anything?  What if you need the physician immediatly?  Is there a cell phone to use or if something was wrong will they charge you for another surgery or what happens?

Dr. S is a one man show for the business end of things.   The medical side of things he has a team in place.   He does need someone to assist him ... and will get to that point eventually but for now he does it all and pretty well usually.   I've always emailed his gmail account above and gotten a quick response if he saw the email.   Problem is he does most of his email from his blackberry so he may miss one now and then or not have time to fully answer at the moment and forgets later.   He is 100% dedicated to his patients here and fits everything else in inbetween.   If you send something and don't hear back in 24-48 hrs just resend it.  

I'm also here in Monterrey now and everything has been flawless.   You can see all the work I had done listed below in my siggy.  I'm here till the 24th.   Just got in from the movies and dinner!   Doing great because I was handled by a great surgeon!

I have have been down twice to see Dr Sauceda, and agree with everything Tom and Chris said.
I have just gotten back Tuesday, and I believe you will be very happy with him, the localtion, and his work. His reputation is stellar. Read some back post.... Bard

I would not go to Tijuana!!! I wouldn't let anyone in my family, either! lol. Scary. Just google Tijuana, Mexico news and look at January dates, crazy, sick stuff.

TJ is dangerous.

There used to be a poster that posted all her post op photos from Quiroz and they were a horror. Really REALLY bad. She couldn't afford a revision surgeon so she's stuck with breasts that point in different directions, a huge lump of something between her breasts, everything was a horror. Seriously the worst photos I've ever seen.
