Before I realized the health plan I belong to offered plastic surgery I got a quote of $12,000.  I ended up paying $5,400 and was very pleased with the results.  My arms still aren't small but they are is proportion to the rest of my body.  I went back to work after a week and a half.  I spend most of my day at work at my desk.  I did end up taking off a couple of hours early the first few days I went back because I was tired and my arms were swelling.  But if was all worth it.  Good luck.

That is a great price if it includes everything!   I just had mine done as part of a package with other procedures but Dr. Sauceda in MX does arms alone for $4500.

I had 3 consults for arms (and a breast lift).

The 3 all were around 4,000 - 4500 for the arms (out-patient).

I had surgery on a Thursday --- went for a follow up on Friday.

I could have been back at work the following Tuesday or Wednesday --- the recovery from the arm surgery was not bad at all.
I was bandaged from wrist to armpit the first day --- then, they removed the bandages the day after in the office -- and re-bandaged me from elbow to armpit with some 'netting' to hold the bandage in place.

I was allowed to shower the second day -- and I had no bleeding.

I bought some 'cuddle unders' (long sleeved, very soft undershirts) that I wore under my clothes for a while (inside out, even so that the underarm seams did not touch my skin).

I was off of pain meds after about 3 days (but I had my breast lift done at the same time).

I think that 1 week for recovery should be plenty for you.

Best of luck!!

I paid just under 6k for my arms- it might have been more but I had a breast lift at the same and insurance was covering that so I only had to pay for 1 hr of the 'cosmetic package' that includes OR/anesthesia/recovery which was about 2300/hr and the surgeons fee was 3500.  This is in NYC at Mt. Sinai Hospital.

As for back to work I cant say as I'm only 2 days out from surgery, pain is manageable with meds but I am still feeling pretty sore.
