Saggy thighs

I'm scheduled for panniculectomy in March.  The surgeon thought that I would be happy with the results (vs tt) because my waist is well defined and the gap in my abdominal muscles is very small.  I plan on going forward with this because I have insurance approval.

BUT, I know that I'm going to want my thighs done eventually.  I have very droopy skin on my upper & inner thighs and a bit of overhang on my knees.  What procedure I would need to help this?  I googled and the "thigh lift" before/after pics didn't show anything as bad as my legs look.  I can live with my backside the way it is.  If you've had this done, what was the cost?  I'm sure that insurance won't cover this.

Thanks for your help.

I had the same issue with my thighs...to take care of all of it including the "knee overhang" I had to have a medial thigh lift and the incision goes all the way to my knees.

My legs look drastically different. The cost was around 6,000 with cash payment. I felt like it was a very reasonable price and my surgeon did a great job!

Hi Amanda,

I'm considering a medial thigh lift because a prior thigh lift helped but didn't fix the inner thigh/knee overhang I still have.  I've had a lot of PS work, but this thigh lift scares me the most.  How has your recovery been and do you have any before/after photos you would be willing to share with me?  If I go forward with this, I want to know that the results really will make a difference.

Thanks much!
