Can someone tell me if a bowel prep is required for plastic surgery?  I can understand it was needed for RNY but curious about for plastics :)

Thank you!

I started taking colace a few days before and tried to eat soft foods but only because I have bowel problems normally and anytime you have anesthesia it always seems to make things “harder". LOL

Hope this helped!!

I did a bowel prep prior to my LBL/hernia repair etc. because I didn't want to have any problems early post-op. I won't bother for my medial thigh lift/breast lift because abdominal muscles won't be worked on. It was my decision and plastic surgeon said it was fine.

Thanks everybody!!  I was dreading that "crappy" prep LOL

Exactly three weeks (21 days) from today!!  So excited to get it over with and see the final results and the end of this amazing journey.

Ya'll have a great day.
