"delayed procedure" before lower body lift

 I am looking to have a lower body lift.  I had a previous open cholecystectomy and am told I need a "delayed procedure" prior to the lbl.  It has to do with the blood supply to that area being compromised by the chole.  Does anybody know anything about this?  Or has anybody had this?  I don't seem to be able to find online information using that verbage.  Any help would be appreciated!

I don't know what that means. Did your plastic surgeon tell you this? If so, he would be the one to ask and to give you the explanation. I have seen it discussed when talking about breast reconstruction due to masectomies.

 Is it possible that you wre told you needed "staged" procedures?
