PS Consult today. Why do I feel uneasy?

So, I had my consult today and I'm a year out from my DS.  I've lost 125lbs and I'm ready to get rid of my bat wings.  The only way that I can describe my consultation is that I felt as if I had just had a one night stand and the guy felt me up and just left.  It was weird and maybe that is how a consultation normally goes, but I got there at 10am and was out the door by 10:30am.  I took off my clothes everything except my panties.  The doc and another male dr came in and they looked at my body.  He told me to pull down my panties he touched my body including my breast and my virginia telling how he could fix it and make me look great.  I felt so odd being there with 2 men then a woman came in, but I was already naked with these 2 guys.  I know I need to get another consultation.  I expected us to talk more about my motivation for surgery and my expectations.  I don't care to look perfect or like a model.  I'm ok with some of my imperfections.  Plus, I cannot afford everything.  I only really care about my arms and possibly my breast. I felt like I was totally in shock.  I finally managed to ask a few questions about his experience with WLS patients and minority patients.  I asked for before and after pictures, but he said he really didnt like to show them because results are different for everyone.  However, he said I could talk to some of his patients.  Is that a red flag that he didnt want to show pictures?

Thanks for any advice.

Thats Crazy!  When my doctor looks at my body as far as what we need to do, he ALWAYS has a female in the room.  Even after surgery for follow ups if I need to get undressed.

Dr. L is correct.  MOVE ON and don't go back!

Trust your gut on this one!  We get those uneasy feelings for a reason and you should listen to it. Sorry you had such a bad experience : (

I'd say that's a HUGE red flag.  In my experience if you don't feel comfortable within  few minutes of meeting the doctor - keep looking.  I've never been without clothes and only what had to be removed for him to see what I wanted done without a female nurse in the room.  If you haven't already, you should post of here and see if anyone can recommend someone in your area.  Good luck.

I would have felt very uneasy as well. I agree that you should move on. Surgeons should have many before & after pictures for you to view. I know that my surgeon is a busy man but he has never made me feel like he's in a ruch to get finished with my appointment and I have never left him with unanswered questions. I say go with your gut feeling and look for someone else.
