I had a tummy tuck and breast lift. Wow how time fly's! I am feeling great! I still can't sleep on my stomach, but I guess that will come with time.

I went on Wed for my 4 week ck up, he removed all the tape that was left, looked everything over and was very pleased with everything! As I am too!! He said I could go to a non wire bra during the day, and put all compressions on at night now! Wow what a difference, that in it self makes me feel like I am getting back to normal.

So, he removed 11pds of skin off my stomach, lifted the girls, which look great by the way! I am a little disappointed that I am a C cup now, I was a DD. I have to say though, I do look proportionate. I just miss having the DD's. I do have till the end of Feb to decide if I want implants, as he is running a special right now. But he says we won't even talk about implant surgery till I am about 6mo out from this surgery, but I could go ahead and book it at this price. So I have some time to play around with "pretty" bras and see how I like my profile.

I have to say, having this surgery I feel like I finally "see" what everyone else was seeing after my weigh loss. Does that make sense? I guess because I was seeing the "whole picture" people only saw me in clothes.

Thank you again for all that post on here! It sure does make the experience alot better!!

Thank you Renee! Yes there are things I do now, and I catch myself saying "wow, i can do that now" like sit a certain way, kneel down, etc....things I couldn't do before because of my stomach being in the way. Its a GREAT feeling!! Also trying on my shorts and pants before surgery, that has been fun, because none of them fit anymore. Its kinda another "honeymoon" phase, that we went through with WLS.

Anyhow, thank you Renee!!

I had a tummy tuck last year just shy of my 3rd anniversary of my RNY. Dr. removed 24 lbs of skin. He had to cut all the way around leaving the 4 inches accross my spine uncut. YUP,all the way around  11/15/2009. I had the girls lifted 11/12/2010. I'm noe a full C from a post surgery flat DD. Yes they were completely flat resting on my lap. There surgeries were both 5 hours plus. And for me they were botheasy went home right from recovery Inever had any pain at all I never took an asprin ,eventhough I had plenty of meds to take I never even took one. Thank the alord. But don't count on not having pain. I guess it's just mt constitution.

I went from a 4x pre RNY to a size 8-10 pants. and from  54 dd TO A 40c. It was a journey and not easy but don't give up.

Tonya, how wonderful that this is all working out for you.
The changes that we go through with weight loss is almost the same for plastics.  I'm looking at my swollen body right now there are changes no hanging panni, no muffin top, girls up where they are suppose to be, but everything is swollen at 5 days out from surgery.

You're are a month and seeing differences already.  You may end up loving your "C" cups with the pretty bras that are out.  Hard to get pretty "DD" at least I was never able to get any that looked good and fit.

This is all a journey, but what a way to go with a new body!  Congrats!
