Karen,

You look great ! You are so brave for posting pics on-line, I just couldn't do it. The only one who has pre-op pics of me is the DR. and the Ins. Co. and I am still way to swollen to take post-op pics that are any good.

Congrats on your results, you look like you are healing very nicely.

Thanks for all the compliments ~

I began to really feel like me after day 10.  Drains (only 2 at boobs) were removed on day 7.  A bit painful but my doc had a technique.  I inhaled deep and as I exhaled her pulled them both at the same time!!  I have lost 7 lbs....I will post the actual "meat" photos this week....ugh.  He did say that it was about 1/2 lb. per boob.

I was terrified prior and LOVED this site.  If anyone wants/needs me I will answer all questions....you can even call me.

OOPS - NO boobie drains at all..........only 2 tummy drains.........and yes! I am still taking my percocet.  Down to 2 -3 daily.  My doc also likes valium at night (muscle relaxer) he tightened me up so tight I still can barely straighten up yet!!

Thank you for sharing.  I am scheduled for abdominoplasty and butt aug on Feb 17th..  I am alittle nervous and will take tips you have.  Is the electric recliner necessary or just nice to have?

Personally......the electric recliner was as important as the percocet!!  So was the raised toilet seat with arms (purchased for 55.00).   I am still sleeping/LIVING in my chair.  It truly is the ONLY spot I can get totally comfortable.  In a bed I cant use tummy muscles to get up or down or position comfortably.  Since my surgery - I have had responses from 3 folks here who said they were THRILLED they listened to my idea - which I had read here and has made the past 2 weeks SO MUCH BETTER...........
