does size really matter

Does anyone regret the size of their breast augmentation? Too big, too little? Even though I've lost 100 lbs, my structure is still pretty big. My plastic surgeon said he thinks a D cup would be fine on me, but so many girls that naturally have D 's, say they wish they weren't so big. I'm a saggy B right now. Any input?

Thanks

Your surgeon is most likely suggesting that size due to your shoulder and hip width. If you can carry a D cup and look in proportion then it all comes down to your personal preference. A lot of women who complain about their breasts being too large don't really have the size frame to look in proportion.

I knew that I wanted to be the size I had been most of my life. I still had the frame and broad shoulders to carry larger breasts. So, I went with my preference.

Thank you so much for your response, I guess I just need someone to say it will be ok. I don't really care to look big, I'm just tired of everything being flabby! lol.. But i also want to be in proportion, something I have never been.

Does your Dr. have something you can put in bras to similate the proposed size? Alternatively, if I was in your shoes, I'd go to department store and try on different padded bras. I'd bring extra stuffing and a variety to tops to try on the different bras to get a feeling for what a C, D or DD looks like under clothes. Keep in mind that different manufacturer's bra sizes are slightly different and the surgeon can only estimate what your final size will be.

Look up how to make rice sizers.  It is putting rice in stockings and putting it in your bra to see yourself at different sizes.  Very eyeopening for me as I've never even while heavy had larger breasts.  It was nice to even out the top and bottom so now saving my pennies and dreaming of the day when my breasts and butt look almost equal.

Aloha-

Your PS has various sized implants in the office for you to "try out" ( in 25 cc increments from 200 cc all the way up to 550 cc or more). I urge you to bring several different outfits and bras in with you- your tape size  ( 34, 36, 38, whatever) in a D, C, DD etc---- and try the implants on under your bra in a variety of tees, sundresses, bathing suits, bikini tops, workout tops, sweaters, etc. Even better, bring a friend/spouse with a digital camera and look both at the mirror and at the images. It was the best thing I did- reinforced that I didn't want to go too big at all ( made me look fat again!). I am very very happy with my size. When I went for PS consults, I had 2 male surgeons telling me they thought I should go bigger, and one female surgeon saying my choice was perfect for my body type ( I'm athletically built, didn't want them bouncing up and down when I worked out). I ended up a 34 C ( wanted a small C or full B) - my husband loves them too!

Good luck- bring different outfits and bras! XOXOLori

Just saw the surgeon again today for a post-op check up.

He thinks I'm done with breast swelling, and that what I have, I'll keep. I'm thrilled - after reduction/lift, I'm a large C/small D. DH wants me to get larger implants, but I told him that he only gets one vote, and I get 2. So... unless things change drastically this spring, my boobs are DONE!

Like Lori above me, making sure my breasts are proportional to the rest of my body was important. Yes, I've enjoyed having the breasts that guys like to look at, but when it becomes difficult to move or find clothing that fits well (some of the women we boat with have had significant augmentation... I don't want their issues AT ALL!), I'll stick with my nice C/Ds.

While I love the appearance of my recently lifted breasts, there are times when I DO wish they were slightly larger. I am a C cup now; kinda wish I was a D but oh, well. I ain't going back!!
