Suggestions - Combinations of surgeries

I had my consult and have decided to do:
1) July (I am a teacher and will have about a month and 1/2 to recoup with nothing to do). Abdominoplasty, medial thigh lift, and outer thigh lipo (5 hours total)
2) December (Christmas break & missing a little school - it looks like I will have about 2 to 2 and 1/2 weeks before returning to work) - outer thigh lipo w/ thigh and butt lift.  (5 hours total)

I am going to add my arms to one of the surgeries (I think), which one would you suggest I to add to?  I of course will ask my surgeon, but wanted the experise of those who have been there!

I'm a teacher also and I did my thigh lift over the christmas holiday. I had 2.5 weeks to get it together before going back to work and it honestly was not enough time. If I could do it again, I would wait until summer. It's not the pain or the stiffness so much as the complete lack of energy that it takes to do our job. Plus, you never know if you will have an infection or complication which would require you to be off more.

THat was my original thought, but I really don't want to give up 2 entire summers.  I write curriculum the first week after school gets out, then attend the NEA Convention for 2 weeks.  I was actually thinking about giving up EVERYTHING this summer and having my first surgery immediately after school and the second one the second week of July then it would all be done in one summer!

I really have a lot to think about.  Right now I am fortunate I am only teaching 1 class a day and the rest I plan with other teachers, etc.  In January we also run testing so I would have a light load as needed!

My only suggestion is to have your tummy tuck and arms done at different times as it would be hard to get up from a chair or bed if you can't use your arms or stomach muscles to push/pull yourself up.

I think the idea of having the first round as soon as school gets out followed by round two a month later is doable and would not tie up your time as much.  My surgeon only does one surgery at a time and I had my arms done on Dec. 22nd with my tummy tuck coming up on Feb. 7th and breast reduction and lift on March 7th.

Good luck to you!
