Calling all thighlift patients.

I have a appointment tomorrow with my surgeon and preparing for my last round of plastics. To those who has a thigh lift was lipo peformed prior to the actual surgery are was it performed during the surgery. Does it make a big difference.

I think it made a big difference for me. It helped to contour my thighs along with the skin removal and lift. Mine was done all at the same time.

Can you recommend some scar gel or strips?

I have only had my consult and have huge out thighs still!  We have arranged to have abdominoplasty & a medial thigh lift.  Then outer thigh lift w/lipo and butt lift.  She then decided to do some lipo on my outer thighs the first round so she could do some more and shape more the second!  
I don't know how it will work and honestly have no idea what I expect, but hope to find out soon as I schedule my surgery for July!

I had my TT and medial thigh lift on Dec 14.  I had him lipo my knee area but that was the only area that needed lipo.  My outer thighs and hips went back pretty good so I didn't need it there.  It was done during surgery. Hope this helps!

Thank you Ladies for all your Replies. Well my consult went good. I was hoping that this would be my final round of plastics but it's not. We are gonna do a upperbody lift this round and aggressive lipo to my thighs because they are still thick. I lost weight everywhere but they did not go down that much( It's a family trait.) so he said that if we did the thighs without doing the aggressive lipo they would still be bulky. So We are going to do the aggressive lipo first and then i will go back and have the actual thigh Lift.

Thank is great!  I am happy that you are able to get all this done.  I am now 4 weeks out and thinking of breast lift and thigh lift.  Question, for your thighs, how much was the quote?  I would like to get a ball park figure.  My thighs look really large now that my stomach is smaller (with swelling), I am really concerned how they will look once my swelling goes down.  So how much for your thigh lift?

Hey Val I was thinking about you. So how r u.  Well i don't actually have a complete quote yet. I actually am getting a really great price becaue i'm a second time around er!!1 and also i sent him 9 referrals and 3 have already schedule surgery.  So with that being said my total quote for all my work i will inbox u!!!

You look wonderful.. Your photos pretty much resemble mine.  I had lipo on front and inner thigh, tummy tuck and buttuck lift.  My next round will be, lipo on outer, and back, and a thigh lift.  Who's your surgeon? Did he give you a quote on your thigh lift?  The quote I got from my surgeon for the lipo on outer thigh, lipo on back and thigh lift is $11,000.  I am located in Baltimore.  Can you recommend some scar gel or strips.  I have tried some, but the only scar I worried about is the bikini scar its kinda keloid.

Can I ask who you went with?  I am just north of Baltimore in PA and have an appointment with Dr. Basner on Monday for my first consult.
