Silicone gel sheets for scars
My surgeon didn't automatically have me use them - he wanted to see the scar formation first. At around 2months he had me start.
I'm pretty sure the instructions say not to use it on open scars.

And mine had me start using them at 2 weeks. My ortho surgeon also had me start out early when I had them from him.
I guess it varies about as much as our post-op plans do!
