I would love to hear them Oh by the way I had three C-section is that about the same pain. So glad I can come here for comfort and info. thanks for any help.

I had TT on the 27th and for me it hasn't been as bad as I thought it was going to be.  I know everyone is different though.  I never had a c-section either so I can't compare it.  Good luck to you on your upcoming surgery!

I had a lower body lift on 12/15 and the pain was not as bad as I thought it would be and definitely manageable. Percocet kept me comfortable for the first 4 days, then I switched over to plain extra strength Tylenol.  I've been off all pain meds since week 2.  Abs are still a little sore when I move a certain way, but that's it.
I can't help you with the breast reduction or hernia surgery pain.  I've generally found that with the right pain meds and limited movement, I feel surprisingly OK.

I had a hernia repair, bowl obstruction removal and gall bladder removal on 12/2 and I had been in so much pain from the hernia and the bowel obstruction that it was a relief and I only took Tylenol for pain while in hospital and for one day at home then I was fine..

I just had my LBL on 12/30 and I am off of pain meds during the day and take one at night.. so for me the pain has not been bad at all. I am still sore and yes my abs are tight and if I laugh it hurts but I may just have a high threshold for pain?? I did not have a C-section either so I can not compare.

Good luck and don't worry about the pain, they make meds for that...

Having had 5 c sections, I feel like I can only speak for myself, but yes, it is very similar without the crying baby!  I did not have a difficult time at all.  I was VERY sore and on night 4 when I first slept in a regular bed, it was a bit hard to get comfortable, but I was determined, so the nights after that were all fine, just a matter of adjusting pillows.  All in all, at 51, (and after 5 c-sections) I found the tt with lipo to be very manageable. I slept in a regular bed from day 4 on, and was driving myself on day 8.  After day 3, I never took so much as a Tylenol.  Although we were required to stay 7 days, both my traveling companion (who also had a tt) and I both felt like we were ready to go home.  Our drains were not taken out til day 7, and then we left!  Even with changing planes, etc and a 2 hour drive home, I was tired but fine.  DO, take either laxatives/softeners from day 1 on, that is the VERY best advice you could possibly follow.  Start upping your protein and get yourself in the best shape you can be in for the surgery and you'll be fine.  Good luck to you!

My LBL was on Dec 13th and was not as bad as I had anticipated. I was on pain meds about a week. The toughest part was probably getting from a laying down position to sitting up the first week or two. I had a breast lift in May and that was pretty much a piece of cake.

I've never had a C section so I can't compare it to the pain associated there.  Wishing you well witth your procedures...

I had a LBL/BL on Oct 4th and never even needed the Rx pain meds.  I only took Ibuprofen.  I have had 2 c-sections and they were much worse for me.  I kept asking my PS when it was going to start hurting because I had the on-q pain pump and I thought when it was pulled out that things would get worse, but they didn't.  I slept in a bed my first night out of the hospital with legs propped up and had no problems.  Heck, my drains didn't even bother me and were out on day 6 post op. It really was not bad for me at all.  And I did expect the absolute worst.

I was told of this horrendous pain about my LBL w/full tummy tuck...so I kept waiting for it to hit. Nope.
My BL/BA was worse (pain-wise). Now, I was very uncomfortable but not in pain. Aside from that pesky last drain, it was much better than I had thought it would be!

And if it does hurt, they give you the tools to manage it

Be happy.
