PS Wanted Me To Sign An Agreement not to Blog or Post About Him
I've had good and bad experiences and I can tell you that *I* would be uneasy about it. There's good and bad to ANY business and you as a consumer have a right to know what's being said. In theory - if the doc and his people are 'on point' with their services, there shouldn't be too much negative feedback, right?
One thing I have learned is trust your gut - if you're uneasy now, imagine how confident you will feel on operation day?
Like Dr. L said - you can only get in trouble for lying - either he's afraid he operates on a lot of liars, or he doesn't want his dirty laundry aired - JMO

Run! You will not feel confident in any research that you do with the knowledge that this surgeon's patients can not offer public feedback. You also will not have the opportunity to share feedback with others whether it be good or bad.
The reviews I read on here were a major factor in my selection of my gastric bypass surgeon. I have also posted an excellent review for him and tell people how awesome he is every time I get a chance. When I read online reviews, I will always factor in that there could be one or two negatives in the mix of many positives and generally do not put a great deal of weight on the one bad review. (my selection of a plastic surgeon was more based on the fact that many patients from my gastric bypass suregon go to him and he seems to have the 'seal of approval' from that practice.)
Maybe, just maybe this is a good surgeon that is fearful his rep could be damaged by an ufair review. However, I believe someone very confident in their work and patient relationship would also be confident in the reviews they recieve. I'd be more confident in someone who had a couple of bad reviews among many good reviews than someone who banned their patients from posting about their experience.
