When do you start walking up right?

I feel like I almost there, but my back is killing me! I am so ready to be walking up right! When does this happen? I am feeling good, off of all pain meds, I am in spanx and sports bra now, drains are out..life is good except for not walking up right!

Any info would be helpful!

I don't know, I am kinda walking hunched over still but almost upright.  I still have both drains...they are pulling in 77cc a day still.  I still have that aweful binder on too and I can't wait to be rid of that thing!  You seem to be healing fast, what are you doing to make yourself progress so well?

yes that is the way I am walking too and its killing my back! Val, I don't feel like I am doing anything special to heal faster. Maybe I have upped my protein a little bit, but other than that nothing.

took me about 1 1/2 weeks before I felt like a homoerectus again.

I was told on the 4th day I could start to straighten out over a few days - I'm not sure when I was completely upright but definitely by the end of the first week.

I was walking upright on the third day after surgery. I had an extended TT. Diana

I am three weeks out and I can walk upright mostly.  As I get tired at the end of the day, and more painful, I walk a bit hunched.
