Hello,

I found out 2 days ago that someone canceled their surgery and that I will be having my TT with Lipo.on the 27th! I am so excited!
I have a few questions: Do I need a walker? Do I need a lifted toilet seat? I have heard also that Kotex pads are great for leakage from the incision and drain sites, did anyone have to use these! Any other suggestions are very welcomed! Thanks!

I planned to purchase some things other members mentioned which included a motorized lift chair, a "freshette" pee funnel, a standard recliner and a toilet riser.

In the end, I didn't get any of those things, but I do wish I had purchased a raised toilet seat.

I had surgery on Monday (TT with muscle tightening and thigh lift) and I made it through OK. The back pain from sitting and walking hunched over is bad when I first stand up, but it becomes more manageable as I move around. Today I started taking a muscle relaxer which seems to be helping.

I've had a little leakage from one drain site today for the first time. I'm using a "surgical wound pad" but a maxi pad would have also done the trick.

Good luck to you!
