I DID IT!!!

I did it!!! I didn't chicken out last minute! Everything went well!! Surgery started a little late 8:30, was in recovery by 1:30 and then my private room till today. We left the hospital about 1:30 today and I have done nothing but sleep eat and drink water! I am in no pain, just discomfort, if that makes since. Doc says he took off 11pd of skin and fat, I can't wait to see my stomach and boobs!! I will try for a shower tomorrow and have a look then. I just took more pain meds so if I am rambling sorry!

Anyhow, thank you all for the encouraging words and support on this site! I will post pictures soon!!

Glad you didn't chicken you. Bet you'll love your results. I'd prefer discomfort over pain, too. I'm hoping.

Glad all went well!

Each day gets a little bit better. It has been discomfort (drains, binder etc) mostly for me too. The boobs hurt a bit. For me, mornings are better than the afternoons. I am 15 days out and really looking forward to getting back to normal. I hear about the three week mark?

Thanks! Yes I go back to work on Jan 4th, I am hoping by then I am walking upright and feeling much better. But I already can tell each day is a little better!
