Ab strain question
Well peeps, everything is still good but I had the BM from HELL last night (yes, have been taking stool softeners) and I strained more than I probably should have. Afterwards, my abs which hadn't been very sore at all became "tender"...took a muscle relaxer and slept thru the night. Today, they feel some better but are still more sore than they were earlier this week.
I read some forums and said that generally if you tear something, you'll hear a pop and I didn't hear anything. Have I done something to effect my longterm results? (I will ask dr on Monday but just wanted to get your thoughts).

I had the same thing happen and was tender for a day or so. I've also started back doing crunches and felt tender a little. I haven't heard any popping and my Dr. said he puts layers of stiches in there so for me not to worry. Of course I'm almost 8 weeks now and just started crunches but the BM strain was the 2nd or 3rd week.
