Saline or Silicone? C cup or D cup? Surgery Friday!

I'm scheduled for a breast lift on Friday and I've just made a last minute decision to go with the implants as well.

When I first met with the plastic surgeon 6 months ago I was filling out a C cup so I decided to go just with the lift. But my C cup is getting a little loose, and I've made a last minute decision to go ahead with implants. Without the implants and just a lift, I will probably end up a B.

This may also be because I've been watching Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on cable, haha. Suddenly going down to a B cup just seems no good.

Now I have last minute decisions. Saline or silicone? C cup or D cup?

What did everyone else choose?

I chose silicone. I told my plastic surgeon not TOO big because I wanted to still wear clothes off the rack. Now I wish I had gone bigger! I am now a 38 DD. The bigger implant would have filled out my breast tissue better, and it would still be proportional to my frame. My surgeon  said no one ever wishes they had gone smaller. lol.

Good luck with your decision!

All the women I know that have implants all wished they had gone a cup size bigger. So I would think that if your thinking a c cup I would go for the D cup, but I don't know because I don't have implants, just going off of what i have heard my girlfriends say.

Good luck on Friday!!

I agree with all the other women from personal experience----Go with the bigger cup and go with silicone.  Good Luck

go bigger and silicone under the muscle. I had silicone under the muscle and love it. I'm ok w/ the size but sometimes wish I had gone just a bit bigger.

Definitely go with the D!  I'm a DD and with implants, it doesn't really look it b/c they're so perky and firm.  I wouldn't mind if I were bigger.  It's not like DD boobs that are huge and saggy.  I can't say anything about what kind.  I went with the saline but I also did not have a preference.  My only reservation was that if there was a leak in the silicone, the only way to detect it would be MRI and I'm not willing to pay out of pocket for one (plus the surgery to fix it).  If mine deflate, I'm only out the money to fix it.

Well this is a personal decision .. one I am struggling to make as well.  I was a C cup even a couple of months now but now am having to wear B bras and even then the top of them in a bit wrinkly. (not the upper pole fullness I would like) So the decision has been made for me .. I was considering only a lift but since the boobs continue to settle and deflate I will be going for implants most likely silicone under the muscle.

I have always had HUGE boobs my whole life.  B's don't look that tiny on me now because I am smaller all over.

Even still I think I will be ordering at LEAST a cup larger (probably 2) in the silicone under the muscle.

Since you say you are currently a C cup I would Def go to D's.

good luck!

It really depends on what size you prefer. I knew I wanted large breasts so I went with a DD. I'm a 36DD or a 38D. It sounds really big but it's in perfect proportion to my frame and shoulder and hip width. I have broad shoulders and I carry them with ease. I also opted for saline because my surgeon said he required silicone to be replaced after 10 years. He said saline can stay in for as long as they last. He'd know of cases where they lasted 20 years. I also didn't want to have to pay out of pocket for MRI's for the silicone. All of this is personal preference.

I have saline under the muscle...my ps used saline b/c I was so uneven and that allowed him to make my symmetrical. I told him a D cup and I ended up a 34DD and they are the perfect size. When choosing size I told him this: a) I run so I don't want to not be able to do that b) I want to look unproportioned and c) I want a set to be proud of

Be happy.
