My LBL is scheduled in the am.  I've had some jitters and cold feet over the past couple of days but feel ready to go at the moment.  I think the toughest part mentally is when you arrive at the hospital to get checked in, put in a gown and get the IVs started etc.

Thanks everyone for posting all of your experiences.  It has really helped keep me informed..I've got yoga pants, soft tees and tanks, lip balm, lotion and my ipod all ready to go.  Ack...wish me luck!

Cher, I was nervous and scared too before my extended TT, and almost cancelled the surgery. But is turned out to be easier than I imagined. I surprised myself because  when I got to the hospital, I was calm. Today, 13 days later, I looked at myself and for the first time saw that the results are going to be so worth it!

Thank you all so much for the well wishes!!!  I am doing well. I spent the first night in hospital and the next two in a hotel. Now, I am settled in at home.
