EXTENDED TT REVISION
I just had my appt with PS today and he told me that we will need to do revision to remove more skin.
I just had TT on Sept 22 and I am very upset about this revision.
I do not know what toexpect from that, but my tummy looks weird after belly botton, just weird.
It sticks out with my mons area if you know what I mean and I can pinch fold of skin.
Oh boy, how I hate more surgery!
and i do not know if I should pay again or not?
He will do it in his office.

Revisions really aren't that uncommon for us. As weight loss patients our skin issues are more complicated and once things have settled it's not unusual to go back and have things tweaked with a revision. I had a revision to my tummy tuck incision when I went back in for for my arms and thighs. The recovery should not be near as difficult. It's the muscle tightening that makes the recovery the hardest. You will probably like your results much better once the revision is done. Sometimes the surgeon doesn't charge a fee for the revision. Other times they will charge for anesthesia and the use of their surgical facility if they have that on site. I hope it goes well for you, Alla. Keep us posted.

it happens with our skin, sometimes it swells that when the swelling goes down there is no elasticity and we need a revision, nothing bad with your surgern, I have had a few revisions done in the office with local, my PS didnt charge me for his fee, but I paid for the use of the OR no biggy glad I had it done
