compression garment questions...
I also woke up in the elastic binder. I wore it for about 2 weeks and then moved into the stage 2 type of garment. I was in compression for over 3 months. It kept my swelling to a minimum and I think it really helped with my results. I bought the Flexees also at Kohl's. They are not as expensive as the ones you have been looking at.

Yip, I woke up in one as well and you will to :) I wore the one they sent me home in for about a week and a half, then went to a spanx as well. The one they sent me home in was gouging my hips and was so uncomfortable. My doc said the spanx was fine. I got mine at target for $20 and it s perfect. Helps keep the swelling down but is a lot more comfortable and a heck of a lot less bulky. My doc said I need to wear it for several more weeks, which is fine by me, I think I would have a lot more pain if I did not have it on. I am going today to get a second one so I can switch the two out while I am washing the other. Right now I go back to the hospital one while I am washingmy spanx and I still hate that thing.

When I came to after surgery I had on a binder which was included in the cost of the surgery. I wore it for the first four weeks. After that the surgeon said all I needed were control top panties that you can buy at any department store. I wore those for fthe next four months or so - especially when I exercised. Good luck!
