I have my first consult next Tuesday and I'm not sure what else to ask about the procedure I want besides how it's performed and the recovery time.  What else should I be asking?

What is the procedure?
Johanna - like Joe-on-uh, or that movie, Juwanna Man!

I want a lower body lift and breast lift. I suppose I should ask if he would perform the procedures together.

Thats a excellent question - and if he says no - ask him why.

Where will the scars be located? What are realistic expectations of what you should look like when the swelling goes down.

Ask to see pictures of previous patients having the same surgery.

Does he specialize in patients who has lost massive amounts of weight?

Where does he perform this surgery and does he have a team in the operating room who will be assisting him with suturing etc?

These are only off the top of my head - I'm sure others will post with good questions.

BTW, you should plan to meet with 3 or more plastic surgeons before deciding who to use.

I heard that too about the meeting with multiple surgeons before deciding. What is the reasoning behind that, other than just making sure your not getting taken for a ride.  Just curious.

I saw one today and he was very very nice.  Ayoub Sayeg in Troy, Michigan.  He seemed VERY compassionate about me as a person that I just wanted a more normal body instead of this sagging one.  He told me my belly alone - he probably would remove 20 pounds.  EEK !!   I wish I could weigh it now and see.  LOL.
