Isn't it wonderful that we have the option of having an LBL and don't have to live with all that hanging tissue and the problems it causes?

Good luck for your surgery.

I am 6 days out (fleur-de-lis, hernia repair, panniculectomy, boob lift) and feeling pretty good.  The incisions all over my front are a bit daunting but so far no complications.  Each day I feel a little better.

Advice so far:
Bring REALLY loose clothing to the hospital (button-up shirt)
Having your period the day of surgery is not horrible - hospital can manage
Going home early the next morning is not terribly horrible - pain meds made 1.5 hour car ride home ok.
Be sure to have home care planned (e.g. recliner, pillows, sleeping, caretaker) - I could have been more organized.
Take pain meds bu****ch total Tylenol dose per day
Have sports bra purchase done (snap or zipper front) for first recheck
Have "easy" foods at home - I felt like liquid/soft food post-GB until last night.

So far, very happy with the results.

Well, I had my 360 tummy tuck and triple hernia repair last Thursday and everything went GREAT.  All of that extra tissue and skin that WAS a constant reminder of the old life is gone forever, Everything went GREAT!  Dr Syn has truly changed my life.  He Gave me the tool I needed to lose my weight and now he has fixed my hernias and taken off the extra skin.  He showed me that he is a TRUE ARTIST with my 360 tummy tuck and buttocks lift.  I appreciate him more than he will ever know!

This is one of the three best decisions i have made regarding my body - Ruen Y - breast lift/augmentation and lower body lift!  yes - it does make a CONSIDERABLE difference

it was hard - but, i'm over the hump and it is lookin great!

they say the swelling lasts 6 months?  i cant imagine how slender i will be then?

PS  i have been consistantly weighing 135 pounds at MD office since the procedure - all of that extra skin makes it hard to maintain your weight - i guess because of fluid balances and shifts!
