Plastic surgeons in New York? Central area...

Posted this on the NY board but wondered if ya'll may have some feedback as well?  :)

I'm beginning the PS consult process and wondered if you have any feedback on the following surgeons:

Jeffrey Gusenoff - Rochester
Gregory Baum - Syracuse
David Monacelli - Ithaca

If so, it'd be helpful to know what kind of procedures you pursued, cost, satisfaction, etc.

I am having surgery with Gusenoff tomorrow.  So far, I've been very impressed.  The office is very organized.  He has good bedside manner.  His nurse is very approachable and thorough.  Insurance approval was quick.  I'll let you know how the surgery goes . . .

Panniculectomy, Hernia repair, Fleur-de-Lis, Mastopexy

Thank you so much for sharing and I hope you will keep me posted on how you do post-op.  Of the three surgeons, he's the one I'm the most interested in, given how much work he seems to do with post-bariatrics.  I have a consultation scheduled for the end of the month.

I hope it goes without hiccup and your recovery is managable!

Dr. Gusenoff and myself both trained with one of the leaders in post-weight loss surgery. He has excellent training, experience and he is also a very good guy. I would recommend him without reservations. Unfortunately I do not know the other plastic surgeons. I hope that helps. Best of luck with you decision! Congrats on your great weight loss success.
