I almost spit out the bacon I was eating with the drain/date!

It's not just the drains!  How do you explain the kotex as a bandage?  The silicon strips on the scars?  Or as they run their hands over your sides, back or midriff and all they feel is your compression garment?

Luckily, I don't have men beating down my door for dates now, so I think I'm pretty safe.  My girlfriends go to movies, plays... went to a blues show Sun.  Who needs a man?  I have Mickee, Danee and Libbee generally in my bed, my 4-legged babies.

I had a blast dating after my divorce! I hope you get out there and enjoy! I'm happily married now, wasn't looking and it just kinda happened.

Lisa,
I so understand where you are coming from but I have to tell you that my BA was the best thing I did. I lost all my breast tissue, went from a 42D to a 34A- and hated how I looked. I told my PS to just make me look normal and he suggested 250cc silicone under the muscle which makes me a 34C. He said when you have no tissue left the silicone is less obvious than the saline. Visually I think I look normal, but when I feel the underside I can feel the edges of the implants. So who knows? Only my hubby and he knew anyway, LOL, he paid for it. Nobody else is allowed to touch.

But mentally, I feel so much better about myself. I look in the mirror and I'm happy with what I see. My clothes fit better, I have curves, not a flat chest.

As far as self exams go, whatever tissue you have sits on top of the muscle, which is on top of the implant, so it doesn't get in the way.

Yes, it's kind of hard to decide where to quit with PS. When I first started my PS asked me what I hated the most and I said my inner thighs, yet I ended up doing my breasts and tummy first, then my butt. After my LBL I told my hubby I was done with it, no more! But now that the pain is forgotten, I'm back to thinking about finally doing the thighs, and the arms too. We'll see, it's a lot of money and a lot of healing so I'm still undecided.

Thanks for all your input... was the BA a fairly easy recovery?

I know you dont know me but I would say go for it all!  I had tt and implants 3 years ago and have been so happy.  I got silicone under the muscle.  Exams are no big deal.  They just kinda move them out of the way (sounds strange).  I was seeing a guy who knew how self conscience I was about the droopy boobs so this all was a birthday gift to me!

I am not aware of the medical issues you recently have had so take what I say with a grain of salt.  I just wouldnt want to endure 2 surgeries.

Good luck.

My insurance paid for my panni and my upgrade to the full TT was $1000 - I know I got a great deal.  It will be a year in January

One year almost to the day I'll be getting my BL/BA.  My cost for that is a bit more than yours - but because of money I had to wait.

I'm getting excited.  I'm a 32D - but its all skin and very little tissue.  I want him to make me a small D or larger C.  I have a new BF who is 100% behind me doing this - and want to look GREAT in my bathing suit this upcoming year.  I was SO self conscious last year with them drooping...

Don't feel guilty.  I did for the panni/TT and got over it - and now I WON'T be with the BL/BA.

Hi Lisa,

You look great girl listen go for it..we only have one body you've gone this far now the rest is clean up ... I had my RNY 2 yrs and 2 months ago and my panni removal & breast lift & reduction was 6 months ago ..no regrets..I only wish i had the extra cash to have a full tummy tuck cause in the future i have to have a corsett tuck in which they do the upper part of my tummy.

well i am hoping to win the lottery lol. I wish well and Happiness & go for it..
