I am 11 days post op from a Fleur Di Lys Anchor cut tummy tuck..  My question is...  I have one drain on my left side near my waist line.  I am still have about 15 ml per hour but I have swollen under my breast area and very tender to touch.  Have anyone experiences this?  It looks as if I have a small ball under my breast area on the top of my abdomen.. It is very soft,, it's not hard like blood is under there.  I have pushed on it to see if it was blood that was collected.  Confused.

I haven't had my tt yet but if I was you I would call my surgeons office and describe this to them and see what they say.  They should be more than happy to ease your mind.   Good luck :-)

I had something like this - all along the top of my incision line.  Almost grapefruit sized at one point.  Squishy....if I pushed on the bottom, it would kind of balloon out on top.

My surgeon said it was a small seroma.  And that if it didn't get larger, it should go away on its own.

Mine did shrink - and is only small now.  I read on here to massage it - and I did that regularly.  Not sure if that helped or not, but it didn't hurt.

With still having 15mL per hour..I wouldn't doubt you have some fluid collecting under there.  I was down under 15mL a day by about 5 days out...and I still had fluid there.

I would call your surgeon and ask to be sure and put your mind at rest.

Erica,
That is exactly what my doctor told me it was.  He told me if it got bigger then he would need to put a drain in but it should start going down on it's on.
How long did it take for yours to go down?

It wasn't big for more than 2-3 weeks, but it is still there (small) now at 6 weeks. Slowly shrinking....

Thanks for all your help...  It is comforting to know that someone has had this happen before.  It is so amazing to me when I wake up and feel my new stomach...
Thanks alot.
