Hello.....
I had my breasts done in July of this year.... I am also a small C cup now.
And yes, I had a lump in the areola area. It was there for a few months, and it went away. I also ended up with a very large lump {{about the size of a golf ball}} and had a mammo done a few weeks ago. It wound up being a fat deposit! I will say this, I had major complications after my surgery so my breasts are still very tender.....the mammo did hurt worse than prior to surgery. BUT I do think its because they are still tender. It is different having a mammo now VS. when I had DD breasts that hung to my knees!
Dont freak too much just yet!

I had a breast lift with augmentation 2 years ago and a few months after my first mammogram (about 6 months later) I developed a lump on the top of one of my breasts. I think the implant moved and a piece of it is sticking out from under the muscle. It's rather bothersome since I'd been through so much to not have them "perfect" but the only way to fix my problem is to go in for additional surgery and I'm not willing to do that.

I don't have cancer, but a bit of a botched boob (not because of my surgeon) ... just a complication that sometimes happens.

I have a small lump that developed about 3 months out from from breast reduction/lift.  My PS told me it is a fat deposit.  She is having me massage it daily to try to get it to break up.  Worse case scenario, she said I might have to have it removed surgically if it don't break up.  She is watching it at this point.

On another note:  my OB/GYN told me I should wait until I am at least 18 mo-2 years out from a reduction/lift to even think about a mammo, because all the surgeon will be doing is "chasing" scar tissue at this point.  He said they see alot of "shadows" at this point, and it is way too early to do a mammo productively.  He wants me to wait at least 18 months.  You might want to check with your OB/GYN for his/her thoughts on this.

Thanks everyone for the advice..I think I will wait a little longer on a mamo ..it seems to early for something that painful...lol
