Life is too short to get all cut up LBLs
There are many points that you bring up that I agree with. I totally agree that based on the picture I saw, she was not in any need of a full LBL. I would have loved for my backside to look like hers did when she was pre-op. My surgeon told me I didn't have bad enough issues to have my basckside done and I sag quite a bit more than she ever did. I opted to just go with the extended tummy tuck.
The thing that I have a problem with is. If you buy a Toyota and it is a lemon then you have every right to bash Toyotas. But don't tell everyone they should never buy a car. I think she should definitely put the word out for anyone thinking about using her surgeon and she should tell her story, but to bash the surgical procedure with a broad generalization is not fair. Not every surgeon is bad. LBL's are not bad. There are definitely bad results and she is one of the unlucky ones. I hate it that this was done to her. I wish she had never had it done and from that picture that I saw, it was not all necessary. She looked great before!

And sometimes it's not about a bad doctor but a bad OUTCOME.
We don't know how many other people this surgeon has worked on with EXCELLENT results.
Perhaps her situation is not about malpractice or negligence but what "could" happen, to any of us, at any hospital, with any surgeon.

Well he certainly has written quite a bit and taught and traveled quite a bit promoting his wares. Maybe more of this than actually producing good solid results. Who's to know for sure. Reminds me of the tale of the Emporers New Clothes and the two tailers by Hans Christian Anderson . Story of the Emperor's New Clothes Reminds me of that tale a REAL lot.

I'm sure her surgeon does have good credentials...now. But her surgery was done something like 7 years ago. How much experience did he have back then?? I think she feels that all these Docs had to start somewhere and maybe she was his guinea pig.....
I do feel awful for her and agree with what you said about her pre op pics. I just had an LBL done to pick up an ass that was very, very saggy. I truly needed it.
