Renee, you look amazing and your results are inspirational! You now have the abdomen of a 17 year old. :)

I have been following your journey for a long time. Thank you for sharing your story- it has really helped me in my decision making and knowing what to expect.

I would love to see the results of your latest round of plastics because that is also on my list of things to do.

I am only 3 days out so I am in about as much pain as you can be in and I would say it is going to be worth every ounce of pain.  I can already tell its ging to be awesome.  I had my surgery on Thursday.  Friday my husband went to work and took our daughter to day care, I wass home alone all day- no problem becasue all I did was sleep.  He was home over the weekend, and I have to say I am resting much better today when he is back to work and the baby is at daycare.  I think you will get along fine on your own.  I am still very swollen so my after pictures will not do you to much good :)  I had a full TT with muscle tightening and my scarr is from hip to hip.  I will wear it with pride but have all the confidence inthe world it will fade to nothing.

Good luck!

Kim, thank you for your reply!

Are you sleeping in a recliner, or propped up in bed, etc? Do you have any problems getting out of bed, or on and off the toilet?

The first night I slept propped up on the couch, the last three nights I have slept propped up in bed for 80% of the night then came downstairs around 4-5 AM and slept in my chair the rest of the night.  Getting up and down is tough, but no more so then when I had my RNY or C-section.    Dont try to be brave and hold out on your pain pills, I am taking mine every three hours as perscribed.

The hardest part for me is I have a 4 month old baby and not being able to hold her or pick her up has been the hardest part. My husband put her in my arms last night for the first time so I got to hold her for a while, but she is at the wiggle worm stage so that did not last long!

Kim, thank you. I slept propped up in my bed for a week or so after the neck lift, so I know how to do that!

Lynn - I am scheduled for Dec 21 and getting nervous too.. but I am also so excited I can hardly stand it.  I hope I have a FLAT FLAT FLAT tummy. My whole life I have been so uncomfortable with my stomache... so I think it is going to be worth it and so excited I get this opportunity.

So we can recover together and support each other when we pick out new bathing suits next summer!

Hi Jen, it's been a long time since I wore a bathing suit! I am going to have my arms done in the spring, so maybe next summer I will be in a bathing suit too. :)

Hey Ladies ... I am right with you ... December 14th for a full tummy tuck... nervous but very excited to have a flat tummy!  Thank God for OH because it is so inspiring and re-assuring going through this whole process.  I had 2 c-sections and it is good to hear that the surgery is similar.  Renee ... you look FABULOUS!!!

Well, I am glad to hear that getting nervous is "normal". I will share my experience and photos with you. :)

Hi Lynn,
Thanks for posting this.  I'm scheduled for a lower body lift on Dec 13th and started second guessing myself as well.  I didn't second guess myself much at all before my RNY or arm and breast list. I really do feel like this will be an important step to feeling the confort level I want to with myself.  Hearing everyone else's experience helps in addition to knowing that I'm not the only one getting a little bit of cold feet.
